I bought this jerky for 70 at the time, which isn't bad at all for the size. However, this isn't my first experience with Pacific Gold Despite the fact that they aren't sold online, I have purchased many of these (not from them online) and they have all been salt free. Nonetheless, I noticed there was a difference in the There are some products which are labeled as "Grass Fed" but that do not have the label on the left top that are softer to chew. In the image, you can see it has a label that says "Grass Fed". As it turned out, the item I received had a much harder texture and was significantly less pliable. Thus, I believe the seller may be misrepresenting the product. That information needs to be clarified, I believe. Do not be fooled by what I am saying. As far as I know, beef jerkies in general are mostly salty and hard. Why is that? There's a good reason behind it. The beef I had bought in the past with this particular brand had not been grass fed like the ones I had purchased previously with the particular label.

The jerky was good, but the quantity received was only half of what was stated

My friends and I have purchased several bags of this jerky and enjoyed it very much. As of today, this listing claims there are two bags in the box, but in the box, there was only one. The automated return system of Amazon will not accept it either. handled this matter well through the chat session, but personally I'd rather just get what's in the listing the first time around rather than have to do a lengthy chat session later. As such, I think I will continue to pass on these items in the future.

My experience with other companies indicates that there is far better quality control at this site than those of others. About one spicy and three regular jerky for me, as the spicy is really spicy. I have eaten Pacific Gold for about 40 years now, and I have never found it to be inferior.

The price of the product could be better, but the quality and taste were good

I prefer the Pacific Gold jerky to the cheaper bulk packages available on Amazon and elsewhere due to its better flavor and quality. MSG, preservatives, and spices are widely used in the cheaper brands. You will be treated as though you were eating a chewy, spicy chemistry lab. The company tries to strike a balance between quality and cost and succeeds pretty well. I noticed that I bought packages indicating that the beef I got for the jerky came from one or more of the following There are five countries in these continents USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. There is no "added" MSG in Pacific Gold, but it doesn't say that there is no MSG in the product. It is credible that Pacific Gold flavor comes from I can taste the savory beef and brown sugar, while the hickory flavor and the brown sugar add variety and there is no distracting chemical taste. I have found no other product on Amazon that comes close. There is also an organic line, Golden Valley, that is less expensive than Pacific Gold, especially if you subscribe to it. Golden Valley says the jerky is made in the U. S. last time I read its packaging. No hormones are used in the production of this beef. Gold Valley recently increased the price of a product I like by an extremely large amount, but even with the hike in price, the product is nevertheless competitive in its quality category.

Where did the price increase come from? The price starts at A reduction of 73 cents to a new price of 23 cents. An increase of 20% in one year. A year and a half. Increasing by such a large amount seems excessive. I'm curious what the deal is. Buying again would be nice, but the prices have increased so much. As far as I am concerned, I should be able to purchase this product again for.

Jerky of the highest quality

I first tried this jerky years ago while serving in the military. I love the taste of it. This is by far the best jerky that is commercially available. The meat is more tender as well. While eating it, I don't feel as though I'm breaking my jaw.

It tastes good and does not contain a lot of salt. I have tried a lot of beef jerky in my lifetime, and this is one of the best. Do not freeze it it can be kept in the refrigerator for a while. My favorite is to cut up the cake into small pieces and eat them. This product does not contain preservatives, and that is why I like it so much.
